Vibram debrief

Here's the beef.
I do not have buyer's remorse.
I am happy with my Vibram See-ya purchase.

Pros
no socks
helps improve my running form automatically
makes me want to be as cool as the shoe
neon colors
was able to run fast in them

Cons
can feel rocks under my feet
scared of over doing it
dang expensive
reluctant to wear them consecutive days in a row

Recent experiences
3.5 miles is the farthest I have gone.
The only "pain" I have experienced is blisters on the bottom of my big toe.  I am prone to blisters so am not too worried about that one.  The first 3 miler I took them on was great.  I was excited to try them. However, I noticed that I was more tired because I really did have to pay a little more attention to my form.  It was very interesting.  I also found my calves and ankles incredibly sore the next day.  I had never ever experienced soreness in those areas.

vibrams

I took a test drive in my new Vibrams.  I ran approximately 3 miles to test the waters and see what would happen.

Results:
No foot pain whatsoever.
Did not feel like I was pounding or stomping.
Felt easy and natural to land on the balls of my feet.
The form did not feel forced.
perfect for summer hotness-breathable material

Cons:
Big toe rubbed against material and surprise surprise formed a blister
The blister effected the last half of the run enough that I stopped.
An oncoming car forced me to run in the dirt for a few seconds.  I could feel each individual rock.  These bad boys are not for off roading.
I was so nervous about having bad form that I felt like I couldn't relax.  I felt exhausted even though it was only 3 miles.  I suspect this will subside as I get used to the form.
